My name is Avril Biggin and I'm a graphic designer currently based in Regina, Saskatchewan. My key areas are brand creation, logo design, print design & web design. I work with clients throughout the province as well as the West Kootenay region of B.C., New York City, the Bahamas, New Zealand, and Mexico. Graphic design is my passion and I am so lucky to work with the amazing clients I have.
I've been working as a graphic designer for over 13 years and I still love my job. Everyday brings fresh new design challenges that I'm excited to take on. Specializing in brand creation, web design and print design, I place significant value on connecting with my clients by gaining a strong appreciation for who they are and what they want to achieve through visual communication. Since launching my-studio.ca, I have created logos, brand identities, print materials, and websites for a variety of clients worldwide.
When I’m not creating incredible new brands and collateral for my clients, you’ll either find me hanging out with my 80,000 bees, hiking on mountain tops, riding sweet BC powder, or in full scuba gear in search of the great hammerhead shark - my favourite aquatic species. I'm currently not taking new clients.
I’ve had the opportunity to work on some amazing projects in 2017. Another successful campaign for the 2017 Regina Folk Festival wrapped up, a new identity was developed for Foster Art and Wellness located in Edmonton, and some really fun materials were created for Formula Manzanillo (website coming soon!), a radio station located in Mexico. The diversity from one job to the next is what keeps this industry so fresh and exciting, even after 13 years. It fuels my passion and drive to be better. Not just a better designer, but a better listener, a better communicator. My focus continues to be on providing clients with exceptional brand identities and designs they are truly excited about. I want to continue to be a graphic designer clients are excited to work with. Here’s to the continuation of creation fueled by passion and growth.
